A place where kids beg to come!

The Elementary classroom is located in the Children’s Ministry area next to the playground and is designed for children in Kindergarten to 5th Grade. The children are broken into three groups K and 1st graders, 2nd and 3rd graders, and 4th and 5th graders.

Each week children participate in our Elevate worship service in a media-rich classroom designed as a small theatre. It is comes complete with a stage, curtains, movie projection system, sound system and lights that pulsate with the music as kids worship.

Children are involved in every aspect of this creative and fun service through songs, games, drama and weekly Bible lesson, small groups, as well through offering and prayer. Each lesson is designed so children can apply it to their daily lives.

At the end of the service a Parent Flyer is provided with a summary of what your child learned during the worship service along with some ideas for how to incorporated the lesson into your child’s daily life.

Current Elevate Series

LESSON 1
Lesson Goal: The children will learn that we should always forgive other people because God has forgiven us.
Main Point: The Right Way To Live Is To Forgive!
Bible Story: The parable of the unmerciful servant (Matthew 18:21-35)
Memory Verse: "Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends" (Proverbs 17:9 NLT)

LESSON 2
Lesson Goal: The children will learn that, after we sin, we can and should turn back to God and ask Him for forgiveness, knowing that He is faithful to forgive us.
Main Point: Forgiveness God Does Not Lack, To Him You Can Always Go Back!
Bible Story: The lost Son (Luke 15:11-24)
Memory verse: "Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away" (Acts 3:19 NLT)

LESSON 3
Lesson Goal: The children will learn that it is our job to tell the world about Jesus and we should do our best at that job without worrying about how people will respond.
Main Point: Give Your Best and Let God Do the Rest!
Bible Story: The parable of the sower and the four soils (Mark 4:1-20)
Memory Verse: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding" (Proverbs 3:5 NLT)

LESSON 4
Lesson Goal: The children will learn that it is not enough to just listen to God's instruction, warnings and commands. We have to obey as well.
Main Point: Listen and Obey And On Solid Ground You'll Stay!
Bible Story: The wise and foolish builders (Matthew 7:24-29)
Bible Verse: "But don't just listen to God's word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves" (James 1:22 NLT)

LESSON 5
Lesson Goal: The children will learn that we should be persistent in our prayer life. We should spend time with God in prayer everyday.
Main Point: Continually Pray Every Day Without Delay!
Bible Story: The parable of the persistent widow (Luke 18:1-8)
Bible Verse: "Never stop praying" (1 Thessalonians 5:17 NLT)

LESSON 6
Lesson Goal: The children will learn that we should follow people that make wise, God-honoring choices.
Main Point: I Should Be Like the Wise People I See!
Bible Story: The ten bridesmaids (Matthew 25:1-12)
Memory Verse: "Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble" (Proverbs 13:20 NLT)

LESSON 7
Lesson Goal: The children will learn that God gives us our abilities, our possessions and our time. We should use these things in ways that please God. Specifically, we should use these things to help other people.
Main Point: Choose to Use What God Gives to You!
Bible Story: The parable of the loaned money (Matthew 25:14-30)
Bible Verse: "To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away" (Matthew 25:29 NLT)

LESSON 8
Lesson Goal: The children will learn that our actions are more important that our words. We will show the world that we follow God by showing love to each other.
Main Point: By Showing Love, I'll Honor God Above!
Bible Story: The separation of the sheep and goats (Matthew 25:31-46)
Bible Verse: "Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples" (John 13:35 NLT)

Mid-Week Program - Kids Klub

Kids Klub is a FREE after school program for Kindergarten to 2nd Graders that meets every Thursday from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm during the school year.

Kids Klub is designed to teach the basics about God, Jesus and the Bible. These basics give children a solid foundation to build their faith on for the rest of their lives.

Each week the kids get together to play, to learn, to pray and have a yummy snack. Each week kids will discover a new book in the Bible and will learn the main theme about each book and a key verse.

THE 5 GOALS OF KIDS KLUB!

Kids' Will Learn…
º all 66 books of the Bible through music.
º how to navigate the Bible by Book, Chapter and Verse.
º the difference between the Old Testament and the New Testament
º the main theme from each book in the Bible.
º key scripture and be able to recite from memory.

This is a great way for kids to connect and build relationships with other kids their age.

Vacation Bible School

Every year hundreds of children come to one of best VBS programs in Fountain Hills which typically takes place during the second and third week of July. The entry to our VBS is always creative! Over the last few years our entry has featured Waterfall Room, a Space Teleportation Room, and even a Virtual Roller Coaster!

Not only do children enjoy the creativity of our VBS but it is designed so children can walk away with a solid foundation in truth. Each year kids will...

º learn to make good choices and how to CHOOSE & LIVE FOR JESUS!
º play fun Games!
º make cool Crafts!
º sing great Songs!
º eat yummy camp Snacks!
º watch hilarious Skits!
º get a FREE VBS T-Shirt!

The last night of the VBS there is an Ice Cream Family Night where kids perform all the songs they learned and then enjoy a video of pictures taken of them during their week at VBS.

Winter Camp - MrJ's Weekend Camp Experience!

This is a 100% CAN’T MISS EVENT for elementary age children and typically takes place in late January or February each year. This event is open to ALL children grades K to 6th. This weekend camp takes place right here in Fountain Hills and is a lifetime lasting memory for every child who attends.

Enter into MrJ's creative world of imagination where Story Telling, Bible Truth, Worship and Fun all come together! Kids get the full MrJ "camp experience" without having to leave town and at a fraction of the cost of a traditional camp!

Children dig into their Bibles as they follow along with MrJ and his signature “Four 1’s” technique.

º Read 1 Chapter.
º Write 1 Verse.
º Write 1 Prayer.
º Share with 1 Person.

In addition to the worship services kids have a day at the park where they play imaginative camp-inspired games. On Saturday afternoon, children are treated to lunch with MrJ and his entire cast while still in costume. This is a great time for pictures and autographs with the cast members. The entire family is invited to the final session Sunday morning which is performed for the entire congregation.
