Please take a moment to look over the positions and descriptions at the bottom of this page. If you see a position where you feel we can use your talents please fill out the Volunteer Form. Please keep in mind that first-time volunteers may be subject to a background check.

Camp Counselor
A good position for adults and responsible teens. Camp Counselors team up 5-10 campers. Leads campers in daily activities. Assistant Camp Counselors must have completed their first year of Middle School.
Computer, Lighting and Sound Technician
Manages a central console which controls the computer, lights and sound during each session. MrJ's crew will provide training. Proficiency in PowerPoint is preferred.
Field Games Leader
Manages all field games for campers. Responsible for preparing field games plan, collecting supplies and games station setup. Manages a team of Field Game Station Leaders; may recruit their own helpers.
Field Game Station Leader
Manages a Game Station during field activities at Golden Eagle Park. Leads and instructs campers in playing field games. Volunteer time is only during field games on Saturday afternoon.
Home Host
Will host member(s) from the MrJ crew in thier home while they are here for camp. Will be responsible to provide certain morning and evening meals for the crew member(s) staying in your home. May also need to provide transportation to and from the church.
Meal/Snack Server
Works with the Meal/Snack Leader. Prepares and serves snacks and meals.
Photo Specialist
Captures photos of children and MrJ crew during daily activities. Provides photos on a daily basis to Camp Administrator to be uploaded to Camp web site for online photo galleries.
Prayer Leader
Recruits people to pray for the team members, volunteers, students and families participating in camp.
Publicity Coordinator
Plans and carries out camp publicity to both church and community.
Set Up/Tear Down Crew
4 to 5 individuals to work directly with MrJ and his team to unload and set stage. Will also assist immediately after camp has concluded to tear down and load set design.
Video Specialist
Captures video of children and MrJ crew during daily activities. Provides video in electronic format (MPG or WMV) at the completion of the camp. Video will be used for video promotions for future MrJ events.
Volunteer Snack Leader
Chooses snacks, gathers ingredients, recruits helpers for the preparation of daily snacks for the volunteers. Certain meals will need to be prepared for MrJ and crew during camp hours.
