Don Lawrence : Sr. Pastor
Don Lawrence was born on Janurary 31st, he grew up
in Phoenix and is the fifth of eight
children. He married his wife, Lisa on
August 16th, 1980 he has two grown children
Andrea and Michelle, both of whom are
involved in numerous ministries.

Don Lawrence is the founding Pastor of
Christ's Church of Fountain Hills where he
has ministered since 1984.
Don received his Bachelor of Science
and Master of Arts degrees from Pacific
Christian College, in Fullerton, California.
He was ordained into the Ministry at
First Christian Church in Phoenix, in
1978.
Prior to founding Christ's Church of
Fountain Hills, Don served as associate
pastor at First Christian Church, Northwest
Christian Church and Christ's Church of the
Valley, all in Phoenix, Arizona. He also
held student ministries in Santa Ana,
California and Houston, Texas
Don is a past president of the Arizona
Christian Convention having served on the
convention steering committee the previous
five years. He is also a past member of the
Arizona Legislative Chaplaincy Board and is
currently a member of the Project New Hope
International missions board.
Don served on the Fountain Hills Town
Council for 5 years including one term as
Vice Mayor.
Don's community involvement has
included:

Association.

the Widening of Beeline Highway Action
Committee
In 1991 the citizens of Fountain Hills voted
Don one of the twenty outstanding volunteers
in Fountain Hills.
Don is a recipient of the Hope International
Outstanding Alumni Service Award presented
by Pacific Christian College.
Don is the 2007 recipient of the Family Life
Radio Outstanding Pastor Award.
In early
2007, Don was inducted into the Lower Verde
Valley Hall of Fame by the River of Time
Museum Foundation of Fountain Hills.
