Ellen France was born on September 29 into a military family. For most of her younger years she traveled the United States and Europe, living in Great Britain for three years. She had the education experience of visiting most of the European countries with her family.

Ellen has been married to her husband, Jeff, for almost 34 years and they have two grown, married daughters, Amy and Libby. Her husband is also very active in Christ’s Church, playing guitar on the Praise and Worship Team, leading a Small Group and being an Elder. She has lived in Fountain Hills since 1988 (except for a short stint in Michigan) and now resides with her husband, one loveable golden retriever and an orange cat.

Ellen received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Arizona State University in 1976 in Education. She taught and did substitute teaching in Fountain Hills for many years before becoming a staff member at Christ’s Church.

Her involvement in Christ’s Church is varied. It has included participation in Vacation Bible School, teaching preschool Sunday School and Pioneer Club, being a sponsor on youth trips, singing on the Praise and Worship Team, Women’s Ministries/Bible studies and hosting a Small Group for years.

She and her husband love to walk, ride bicycles, take excursions on their motorcycle, hike in the mountains outside of Prescott and spend time with family and friends. They enjoy attending Sprit West Coast, a 3-day Christian music festival, in California each year. One year Ellen had her picture taken with Phil Joel of the Newsboys.

Ellen finds pleasure in helping to make the church office run smoothly. She is anxious to meet the needs of the pastors, office staff and congregation. Please stop by the office and meet her soon.
